Solutions for wrong layer problem of hot rolled ASTM A283 Grade C mild steel coil

The main solutions for wrong layer problem of hot rolled ASTM A283 Grade C mild steel coil suggested by BBN steel are 3 aspects:

1) Modify the position setting value of the side guide plate. When the side guide plate is seriously worn, the position setting value of the side guide plate is reduced, so that the side guide plate is contracted to ensure ASTM A283 Grade C mild steel coil is clamped. For the problem of excessive pressure on the side guide plate, the location setting value is enlarged.

2) Change the side guide plate regularly and calibrate the position. After the completion of the calibration, we should pay attention to manually open the side guide down several positions, measure the opening with the box ruler, and compare with the feedback values of position sensor. So as to solve the problem of sensor by increasing or decreasing the feedback value and the compensation value of measured value. In addition, we should carefully monitor the pressure sensor values on the operation side and transmission side of the side guide plates, pay attention to re calibration and replacement problem of sensor and sensor receiving module.

3) Check the pinch roll regularly. The seriously worn pinch roller needs to be updated immediately. Besides, the feedback value of pressure sensors on both sides of the pinch roller is observed, and compared with the measured value of the mechanical table in the valve station. When the deviation is too large, it should be replaced in time, so as to avoild wrong layer problem of hot rolled ASTM A283 Grade C mild steel coil.
